MAKING IT IN BUSINESS IS TOUGH
On a daily basis, business owners face a variety of challenges in an effort to run a profitable business. Today’s business world is fast-paced and ever-changing. Business owners need to be flexible and ready to pivot whenever necessary.
Competition to your business exists. Ever-increasing government regulations, competitors and sometimes, even your own employees, are working against you. Being able to identify not only threats to your business but also opportunities, is imperative to your business’s continued success.
In today’s world, you need a legal advisor who provides you with sound, practical advice. Advice premised on a common-sense approach that identifies and strategically plans for pitfalls that occur, including time and cost-efficient resolution of those pitfalls.
I’VE BEEN A PRACTICING ATTORNEY FOR 27 YEARS
I’ve had a wide array of experience practicing law over the past 27 years. I spent a decade as a civil defense litigator with a mid-size law firm. I spent another decade as in-house counsel to a privately-held commercial real estate developer. I spent 7 years as a partner in a small business transactional law firm and currently, am practicing solo, focusing on all aspects of business law, commercial real estate and estate planning. After 27 years of practice, I am associated with a carefully selected group of attorneys that have areas of focus my clients may need. As a solo practitioner, my clients have access to the benefits of these other specialists.
I’m available to my clients. It sounds basic, but I answer my phone and respond to emails. I encourage my clients to call before they take that leap. I’m a “big picture” practitioner. I help my clients create a strategy, negotiate and document agreements and catch and solve small problems before they become insurmountable hurdles. My clients’ success is my success. I want my clients to succeed and strive to help them to do so, every day.
We all know disputes arise in business. I’m an experienced negotiator. Resolution is clearly preferred to litigation. At times, despite best efforts used to resolve disputes, some matters end up in court. I am able to represent you in court, having mediated, arbitrated and tried many cases. I know how to protect your rights and can do so in a cost-effective manner.
CLIENTS DESERVE GREAT SERVICE
All clients deserve great service and I work hard to provide great service. From making myself available in person, by phone, by email, on Skype and even face-to-face in your office, I will always accommodate you by providing exceptional service. Many services are provided on a flat fee basis with you knowing, up front, exactly what the cost will be. No surprise billing. I don’t want my clients to be afraid to call me for fear of receiving an indecipherable bill. I enjoy long-term relationships with my clients. I want my clients to call me to “run an idea past me” or to get my “gut” reaction to a situation. They want me to tell them if they are really on to something or about to step off that cliff.
AFTER 27 YEARS OF PRACTICING LAW, I STILL LOVE HELPING MY CLIENTS
Whether it’s taking an advisory role to a business owner or being entrenched in the day-to-day operations of a successfully run business, I truly enjoy the long-term relationships, and often, friendships, I’ve established with my clients.
My clients range from small start-ups to multi-million dollar companies. Being part of my clients’ success is something I feel very fortunate to be a part of.
If you’re looking for an attorney with whom you can enjoy a long-term business relationship and one who will enhance your company’s success and profitability, please feel free to contact me. I’m always looking for quality people to work with.
